On Thursday 14 September ABC 774 featured Care Connect CEO Paul Ostrowski. He talked about how Care Connect supports people 65+ stay living in their own home as they get older. He went on to discuss what a Home Care Package is, how to access one, the types of services people access and the importance of choosing a provider that offers truly independent advice.
“Like anything in life, getting the right advice at the right time makes all the difference. Finding someone who can give you totally independent advice based on your needs is so important. Getting older is a journey so you want to choose a provider who can offer a wide range of services so when your circumstances change so too can your services.” o

On Tuesday May 3, two of Care Connect's Homeshare clients - Rose and Olympia featured on SBS's Insight program with Jenny Brockie. The program was entitled - How do we give older Australians the housing choices they want?

On Thursday 3 June the ABC’s Lateline featured Care Connect and Spectrum Migrant Resource Centre's partnership program, Homeshare. The program focused on housing affordability and Homeshare being a possible solution for younger people. Our Homeshare ‘stars’ are Maria (householder) and Sophie (homesharer) in Melbourne’s west who have been living together for seven months.
