Regardless of where you provide in-home care, you are responsible to comply with Commonwealth and State guidelines to keep our clients and yourselves safe.
Please note that we always advise our clients that if they are in lockdown or isolation, they wear a mask whilst you are in their home, and to ensure that you are delivering their service whilst following all PPE requirements and request that they implement the screening question process before permitting anybody into their home if they are in lockdown.
As a reminder, here are the screening questions that you and your staff may be asked. They will only be allowed into a clients’ home if the answer to all questions is NO:
“Have you or someone else in your home”:
- Been diagnosed with Coronavirus or is suspected of having Coronavirus?
- Had close contact with someone diagnosed with Coronavirus or who is suspected to have Coronavirus in the last 14 days?
- Been to any of the ‘COVID Case Locations’ (as listed on the VIC Department of Health website) during the time and date indicated?
- Been advised by a healthcare professional to undertake mandatory isolation?
